I started out really liking this series with Book One and found myself anticipating the next book because it was fresh and the plots were interesting and building up very nicely. But it began to drag and I really really don't like how her sister and her skanky boyfriend speak to Jill and take advantage of her and surprise, surprise....she let's them. Kathy is quite insufferable and I skip over her parts as she is whiny, pushy, needy and she manipulates Jill with the children. She is a true bully. Jill is gradually becoming unappealing, insipid and can't see the forest for the trees. She has become such a wimpy dishrag and a real pushover and it is sickening.....and not a good role model of a strong independent woman. And the situation nor the plots nor the characters are improving....the only one remotely interesting is Winky and he is losing his appeal as he can never acknowledge nor thank Jill for not kicking his conniving butt to the curb. I am no longer paying for these books....I would rather hook up on Kindle Unlimited for free. The P.I. Witch series started off very promising, entertaining and just plain fun. Now it is a drag on my time and my sensibilities and instead of looking forward to the next book in the series, unless there are some major personality improvements and Jill starts putting people including her pain in the butt sister and boyfriend in their place, I am going to start putting the P.I. Witch series in it's place. Permanently on the shelf! Come on Adele....MOVE IT FORWARD!!!!!Product details

It was cute, not my favorite but hoping this was part of building up to something. I really like the characters, Jill and Winky are a riot. The twins never learn.
Although a fan of the series, action is rare and routine is monotonous. Heroine's relationship with love interest is shallow and the heroin, although smart, witty, and resourceful lacks passion.
Adele Abbott is one of my new favorite authors. I read everything she's written and I am dying for more.
The characters are fresh, edgy, funny and keep you entertained until the end of the story. It is never predictable or what you might think it could be in the outcome. You keep guessing for the entire story.
I really enjoyed this series at the beginning. It was a fun little read. If I were paying $.99 I might consider continuing this ongoing plot challenged series. The story used to have a beginning, middle and ending with enough "what's going to happen next?" to keep me coming back. Not so much anymore.
The first books were good with her learning her witchy talents. But now it's just a bunch of nonsense and hardly any witchy talents

I just love these books! While they’re not Pulitzer Prize books, they are funny, and just a blast to read. Five stars may seem like too many, but I give the rating based on this type of book and how good it is. I gave “All the Light We Cannot See” 5 stars because it was phenomenal! I gave this book 5 stars because it’s meant to be light and fun and it was! I listen on Audible because reading triggers my chronic migraines (major bummer), and I look forward to each new one!
This edition just - annoyed me. The main theme seemed to be Jill's lying to cover her "secrets", when in reality she is covering her behind.
The plot and the who dunnit were so obvious that for Jill to not instantly catch on strains credulity.
Do a better job next time Adele or the next book will be my last.
